DO IT FOR JACK brings a life-saving message to Loveland High School

It’s a difficult story that keeps repeating itself – Fentanyl claims another young life. Jack Quehl is one of those stories; one his parents Stephanie and Tom have shared with some 8,000 students with the hope it will save lives, stop other young people from making one fatal mistake.

On Tuesday, April 8th, about 1,000 Loveland High School (LHS) students attended two separate assemblies in the school auditorium to hear first-hand the story behind the Do It For Jack foundation (DIFJ) – The Jack Quehl Foundation. It was established during 2022 in memory of Jack Quehl who died tragically from fentanyl poisoning. His parent’s, Stephanie and Tom, have been sharing Jack’s story; raising awareness of the dangers of fentanyl to help save lives. After being introduced by LHS advisor Jamie Gordon, the Quehl’s asked the students if they knew about fentanyl.
