First Beyond the Boundaries Scholarship Recipient Named

The Jack Quehl Foundation Beyond the Boundaries Scholarship was established by Jack’s family and friends to honor the legacy of young man with a passion for exploring the world. By the age of 18, Jack was fortunate to have visited numerous countries, including Germany, France, Brazil, Thailand, Cambodia and Malaysia. With each adventure, Jack was exposed to a variety of cultures and truly meaningful experiences that taught him about humanity and gave him an appreciation, understanding and respect for different ways of life. The purpose of this scholarship is to financially support a Moeller student in his quest to seek out authentic experiences as Jack did and enrich his mind, body and spirit outside the four walls of a classroom.

We are happy to announce our first scholarship recipient is: Dylan Wahl.

A note from Dylan to the Quehl family:

Dear Mrs. Quehl,
I would like to further say thank you for the help you and Mr. Quehl gave me through the Do It For Jack Foundation. If it was not for you guys then I would not have been able to have gone to El Salvador— which truly was a life changing trip for me. The friendships and memories I made and the greater desire to get more involved within my own community is all thanks to you guys, and I hope to take what I took in from the trip and apply it to my life until I’m an old soul. Again, thank you for everything! God bless you two.
Dylan Wahl.
